ENTYVIO (vedolizumab), an integrin receptor antagonist, is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells that binds to the human α4β7 integrin. ENTYVIO has an approximate molecular weight of 147 kilodaltons.
Vedolizumab is supplied at a concentration of 60 mg/mL as a sterile, preservative-free, clear to slightly opalescent, colorless to pale-yellow solution of pH 6.3, which contains 4.6 mg/mL L-histidine, 4.28 mg/mL L-histidine monohydrochloride, 26.34 mg/mL L-arginine hydrochloride, 100 mg/mL sucrose and 0.6 mg/mL polysorbate 80.
