DARZALEX (Daratumumab) is an immunoglobulin G1 kappa (IgG1κ) human monoclonal antibody against CD38 antigen, produced in a mammalian cell line (Chinese Hamster Ovary [CHO]) using recombinant DNA technology. The molecular weight of daratumumab is approximately 148 kDa.
Daratumumab is supplied at a concentration of 20 mg/mL as a colorless to pale yellow preservative-free solution of pH 5.5, which contains 0.185 mg/mL glacial acetic acid, 25.5 mg/mL mannitol, 0.4 mg/mL polysorbate 20, 2.965 mg/mL sodium acetate trihydrate, 3.505 mg/mL sodium chloride.
